FAQ

When should I book?

As soon as you can! I recommend booking your maternity portrait session between 28-35 weeks. Usually during this time your baby bump should be showing nicely but it's not too close to babies due date in case they decide to arrive early!

Can my partner and children be in some photos too?

Yes I'm happy to include your partner and children in some of the photos! In fact it can be a nice way to involve your other children in the excitement of preparing for a new baby to arrive and can make them feel important during this time.

What should we wear?

I advise everyone having photos to wear colours that coordinate well together and avoid large, bold patterns or logos. I have a small selections of gowns and flower wreaths you can choose from to wear if you like. Check out Pinterest for clothing inspiration and ideas.

What should I know about my maternity shoot?

Sessions can either be done in the studio or at an outdoor location which we can discuss during our consultation. It usually takes approximately an hour for a maternity session. I don't allow mobile phone photography during photo shoots.

What happens after our photoshoot?

Allow up to three weeks to sort, prepare and lightly edit your images for viewing. I'll then make contact with you to arrange a time to view your proofs. A minimum deposit of 20% is payable upon placing an order and both Humm and lay-by payment plans are available as payment options. Once your package is paid for, I’ll then do a final edit of your chosen images, order prints, frames, etc. and will contact you when your package is ready.
